i attached a sweet chocolate brown satin ribbon to finish it off and now it's all ready to be delivered and hung in genevieve's nursery. and wow, that was A LOT of "e's" that i painted in that name;) whew....

today's buzz...

making progress on this sweetl little autumn fairy for a new baby! have to have it shipped out by this thursday, so it is what i will be working on this week. as well as a few other things bec i LOVE to multi-task....;)

today's buzz...

a custom order for a sweet little autumn baby named genevieve, the nursery is green and brown, so most of the finished painting will contain shades of green, with the oranges from the pumpkin and leaves being the contrasting color. it will be finished with a lovely satin ribbon for hanging (most likely in a nice cocoa brown color to match the nursery).

today's buzz...

here is another addition to my 'petal pixie' series...and undoubtedly my absolute favorite one! anyone who knows me knows i am obsessed with all things japanese/chinese...seriously! and i am crazy, crazy, crazy about cherry blossom trees. especially the japanese sakura trees...they are just gorgeous and the smell is intoxicating. one day i hope to be able to travel to japan. it has always been my dream destination place. the culture, the beauty, the simplicty...i am fascinated by all of it. so little sakura here is my homage to those lovely trees/flowers. oh, and it's also the only perfume i wear;)
next up is my final 'petal pixie' for a while...lila.

then it's time to make a few special christmas gifts...one being a large, mixed media canvas which i am excited to do!

here are lily and lila...the last in my "petal pixie" series...for now anyway;) i am going to get painting so i can sell them for the holidays. i have decided to sell them as reproductions in my etsy shop, with the little pixie's name on the bottom. blue belle is all done and ready to be posted! be sure to check back tomorrow, where she will be posted AND ready to be sold in my etsy shop:)
